My old VGN-NS36E laptop will not boot fully until I hit enter a few times along the way. On power on, the Vaio logo show up and then dissapears, no HD light. I then press enter (once or twice) and there is an HD light for a short time and stops. Then, once again I hit enter and windows loads OK.
All correct drivers are installed.
I have tried it with three different hard drives, all working elsewhere correctly but the same problem loading. The odd thing is, my Linux hard drive loads correctly no problems, it is just windows for some reason.
Any ideas why this is happening? Does it sound like ram, power or software?
