SVE1512B1EW RAM upgrade single rank or dual rank

Will this model support two single rank 4gb modules for a total of 8gb or do I need to use dual rank sticks like the original 4gb stock module?

Look inside the memory compartment - there are probably 2 slots. If so you just need to add a compatible 4GB module.

If there is only 1 slot, you will need to remove the pre-installed 4GB module and replace it with a new 8GB module.
