My daughter just got a new pair of these earphones. they seem pretty good except the inbuilt mic seems not to work with all apps on her phone. She has Xperia L1, so we assumed the Sony hardware would be fully compatible.
She has the range of inbuilt Sony apps on her phone plus the typical selection of common social media/communications apps. For some of the apps, the earphones' mic doesn't work (e.g. the native camera app's video function, Snapchat, WhatsApp (sending a video message).
Is this a known issue or just a faulty set of earphones?
