My XAV-601BT will no longer boot up properly. On startup it lights up, has a bit of a go, then gives up the ghost and tries again. With a bit of perseverance it will eventually load, but is prone to cutting out mid journey. I have tried the two obvious things of resetting the unit and also reinstalling the latest firmware. I think it might have been caused by a problem with car battery when the battery cut out for a short period. Sadly it is recently out of guarantee. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
Hi Balloon1875, if you have disconnected the power source to your unit then, using a opened out paperclip or something similar, try pressing the reset button which is located behind the face panel towards the bottom left of the unit.
