XR-55A95K Live TV & Catch Up Subtitles

It is not very often that I actually start a thread!

 

XR-55A95K Live TV & Catch Up Subtitles V6.5954

 

When I turn on the Subtitles using the extra remote Subtitles button or use the Subtitles option using the 123 button I always get an error message at the top of the screen saying Sorry, subtitles for this programme are not available. This is complete nonsense as they do turn on and show with a nice (S) on screen together with the actual Subtitles.

 

Now the problem is turning them off. It doesn't matter what I try, remote button, 123 option or even turning them on and off in the accessibility settings they just don't go away. In fact the error message (Sorry, sub...) always appears and the subtitles never goes away.

 

The only way I can turn off the subtitles is the perform a soft reset.

 

Can anybody confirm if it is just me or all users with a XR-55A95K or any Google TV on V6.5954.
