Hi there, my MY APPS folder has disappeared. It has my Clock, TV remote etc in it. I have Google, tried everything but simply cannot get it back. I have to go into Playstore to access my TV remote. I also somehow defaulted all my contacts, no named with the numbers, even if I save the names again. Should I rather just do a factory reset?
Hi @Bb33, let me see if I can help out here!
You can choose to hide the Apps icon (Application screen icon), and instead access all your apps by swiping up from the home screen. Depending on your Xperia model and Home app version, the way to enable this feature differs. On your XA1 Plus, touch and hold an empty area on your home screen until the device vibrates > Tap Settings > Tap the switch beside "Enable swipe up" to hide or show the Apps icon.
When it comes down to the contacts, have you tried clearing the data for the contacts app? This will not erase any contacts from the phone, but it will reset all settings for the app which might do the trick. Find and tap Settings > Apps & notifications > App-info > Contacts > Storage > Clear data > Restart the phone.
Try these measures and let me know how it goes!
