Pink vertical bars on screen Xa1 Ultra

My Xperia XA1 ultra suddenly started showing Pink vertical bars. When a screen shot was taken n sent to another mobile the pic was absolutely clear.

I did a factory reset but now the screen has turned completely white.  THOUGH  when i press d power button n touch d screen where power off soft key would have been, if visible,  the mobile switches off, indicating that touch is still responsive .

Hi @Nidhan, sorry to hear about this.

It is quite hard to determine whether this is related to the hardware or the software. You may try to do a software repair using a computer and Xperia Companion to see if this is caused by the software.

But as you mentioned that he pink bars did not show up on a screenshot, it might be the display that is malfunctioning and if so, I would suggest that you get in contact with your local support team in order to have your phone sent to an authorized service center to be examined and possibly repaired. If you have any questions regarding the service such as routines, warranty and consumer laws, these kind of questions are best answered by your local support team as well.

Hi Martin,

Yes, i did a Softwre repair but the problem persists.

I have now given the Mobile for check and replacement of the Display. Thats the only solution now for the issue.

Yes the fact that the lines did not show up on the screenshot indicates that it might be the display that is malfunctioning.
