I have a Sony XA2 Ultra and a Sony Smartband and I am trying to activate the voice command aspect of the watch.

I have followed all the steps you have outlined above until the last one and on my phone it says 'Assist App: None' and there are no other options to select. Even though I have Google Assistant installed, it says that 'it is not compatible on this phone'

Is this true? I am wondering whether I have uninstalled something I shouldn't have, or turned off a setting somewhere, as I know Google has offered me to use Google Assistant voice control at other times (e.g. Telling me to try asking Google Assistant to play music whilst I'm driving using Google Maps) 

It's a bit annoying as I specifically bought a Sony Smart watch because I thought it would avoid incompatibility issues with my phone! 

Please help!
