VOLTE?

Does the XA support VOLTE? The whitepaper on Sony Mobile's site states that the device does. But I am on T-Mobile US network and calls drop to UMTS/HSPA(3G). Sony support says the device does support VOLTE and I need to talk to carrier. Carrier says if the device supports VOLTE it should work. Nobody is giving good support. Does anyone know?

I have been informed by Sony local support in India that no LTE-A bands will be supported and no updates will be provided for carrier aggregation bands even though the processor Helio P10 supports carrier aggregation. I had a chat with their support team today and they also informed no VOLTE Support. Please check with your Network provider before purchasing. I can provide chat transcript.

i am totally disappointed😞 after seeing the Sony Service..... they really dont care about us...
VoLTE is the software feature which will be enble on any 4G LTE smartphone.... but still Sony unable to do that

Sony XA Ultra is a new phone and they are not providing VoLTE support. This is such a shame on SONY, many low end phones have this feature. In India only Z5, Z5 premium and Xperia X has Volte itseems, which is insane.

I will make sure that i will convince all my buddies,relatives and colleagues and post in social network sites that never to purchase any Sony mobile from now onwards and fall in thier traps.

There are many devices which uses Helio P10 and has VoLTE support in India like Lenevo K5 Note, Oppo F1S and so on. So this high time for Sony to  enable the feature.

Oneplus is also enabling it with an software update for their old flagship Oneplus 2!! See this is called as working for the customer satisfaction. I need the same from SONY!!

Same with me i m also using xa ultra duo but it's embarrassing because it doesn't support volte. Hoping to get this in update.

No.. Xperia xa doesn't support VoLTE in India...

Yes Skandy as per chipset it's supports VoLTE but it's disabled and this can be enabled via update, I guess we don't have any official mail id to send request to them. We better tweet them on their twitter account for VoLTE support software update.
