Audio & Mic Problems

Hi

The microphone doesn't seem to work at all on my Xperia Z, so I cannot make any calls at all, and the speaker for calls doesn't work either so I cannot speak or hear anyone.

Any ideas?

goto setting>apps>all>smart connect>clear data and cache force stop and reboot phone

Thanks for offering your help guys, after you suggested the smart connect app solution which didn't work, I simply plugged in some headphones and unplugged them again and it solved the problem.
