Those are webm however which the native Video app won't play.
We will see whether we will get support for it soon, even for the early 2016 models with the old MediaTek SoC from last year. At least Sony promised that back at CES:
YouTube will also start streaming in HDR quality later this year, using a new VP9-Profile 2 codec that brings HDR support to Google’s VP9 video format. Sony’s Motoi Kawamura, Head of TV Product Planning for Sony Europe, confirmed to FlatpanelsHD that the 2016 models will support VP9-Profile 2 and be capable of streaming YouTube in HDR. We saw a demo at CES and it looked very good.
Also, I guess the OS/YouTube knows this "limitation" because it seems to default to 1440p 60hz...
It usually takes some time to get the bandwidth required for 2160p60 from YouTube servers. My ISP is 120mbps which I indeed get according to speedtest. YouTube nerd stats suggest that bandwidth to their servers is slowly increased to almost 40mbps which is when the app switches to 2160p60. You can also manually switch to the 2160p60 stream.
I never saw the YoutTube app switch automatically to 2160p60hz :(. I always switch it manually... maybe i'm too impatient... And it shouldn't be a case of bandwith as I have 1gps down connection. Maybe the onboard LAN is culprit...
On my own KD55A1 it goes automatically to 2160/60p after some seconds, few frames dropped in between (less than 6) but I can see some micro stuttering sometimes... I am not able to state if it is a problem on the client side, server side or the source video though (I do not have any other device able to g to that resolution). Broadband is FTTC 200mbps (as stated by the router I can go approximately to the speed something like 196mbps, 180mbps using speedtest)
Not much of an improvement on my side. User interface is still laggy, especially when playing 2160p60 content. It does ramp up to 2160p60 more rapidly now. Frame dropping/stuttering is still pretty much apparent at that resolution though.
For once I can't really complain. With my XD80, 80 Mbps connection, it seems to go straight to 2160p@60fps (I just tested 3 different videos with Stats for nerds on), and it's surprisingly quite fluid. A frame dropped here and there in the stats, but the microstuttering is at a minimum if not present at all.
Now it moved from a 2160p@60fps video to another and the new one started at full resolution. Zero frame dropped (out of 8500 and counting) in the stats as well.
PS: I see that now in the Stats it shows the colour properties as well. Showing bt2020 (and correctly switching to it. Finally!!).

It has been showing that for quite a while already even when the BRAVIA did not switch to it. With latest FW, color and brightness is indeed correct for VP9.2.

Yeah, sometimes it is more, sometimes less. But indeed, the app is now much quicker at switching to full resolution. Also in the nerd stats, bandwidth now goes up to 50mbps rather than 40mbps in previous versions. My ISP is 120mbps and I do get that much when executing fast.com within the Vewd browser, see respective bug-ticket.
VP9.2 is still not functioning properly. It does via YouTube app but when playing such content through other 3rd party apps like Kodi or VLC, the TV does not switch to HDR mode at all.
