Camera image looks like it lacks details

Hi, I am from India. After the lollipop upadate, my Xperia m2 dual( 2302) camera shows some isues. Its image looks like artistic picture, lacks details. When zooming its feel too bad. Is any one have this issue?

Registered to chime in and make some noise! Sony, you completely borked the camera with your update. The statement of a better sharpness for on device viewing is complete nonsense, because even there it looks like ... potatoe. The image quality is beyond ridiculous. You broke my device, fix it! now!

No problem if you admit your fault and fix it. Mistakes happen. If you don't want to fix it, well, you will never ever see me buying or recommending a sony device again.

Hi,
I suggest you to test the camera quality with Snap Camera HDR - Trial version. The sharpness should be adjusted to 0.
The stock camera app shots really over-sharpened photos, i think the guys in the Sony headquarter really screwed it up
Sorry for my bad english but I hope it helps. I do not think that Sony will solve this problem. This Sony is not a Japanese Sony any more.

I have received a response from Sony Support Germany:

They want me to use "repair phone" from the PC companion, which will reset my phone completely, but they don't want to guaranty that the issue will be solved. They did not acknowledge that this is a general problem from the lollipop update.

The only other option they offered is to send my phone in.

I need to think about my response.

That's seems to be the stock response for all issues, and it's an example of how the local support in Germany doesn't know what the devlopers response to the issue is. 

A Sony rep here said the development team said this 'enhancement' was done purposely, so how will a repair, which won't change the software being used, fix what the development team said is not a problem?

I would like to report that camera is broken after lollipop update. It is a big problem so we all waiting for a fix. Please return the camera as it was on kitkat 4.4.4 its not so difficult i think

You all can wait for camera bug (ups, enhancement...) fix, i returned to my old good 18.3.1.C.1.15 version and photos are normal quality now. By the way, today I cleaned blue coating from the camera lens because it was scratched and camera started not to focus at all... After this the quality of a picture became must better. Now i have camera quality like on the first day when i bought the phone.
