Camera image looks like it lacks details

Hi, I am from India. After the lollipop upadate, my Xperia m2 dual( 2302) camera shows some isues. Its image looks like artistic picture, lacks details. When zooming its feel too bad. Is any one have this issue?

I am using m2 dual updated to 5.1.1 after that camera quality is very poor, please fix it, and main screen is not rotating also fix it, this condition is very ambarasing

Reinstall 5.1.1 with Sony PC Companion and remember to back up your phone before you do so.

I updated android 5.1.1 in my Xperia m2 after the updating new os the camera results are very bad so please want to resolve the problem I also contacted to Xperia service centre for the problem but they told me that it can be resolve by us it will resolve by the when comes new os updation I.e. Android 6.0. So, please I want to resolve that because I purchase this for it's camera result, but I suppose to stuck to buy the Sony mobile now.

Phy, please go through the previous posts before you give us an useless solution. Reinstall will never solve as it is software issue after the update.

Fatal error. The camera does not work properly. It is a shame that there is not yet fixed the problem. Sony's reputation is falling. Those responsible should be fired.

I want to add my voice to those of the many dissatisfied M2/M2 aqua owners here! Picture qualitiy after the lollipop upgrade is atrocious, like some kind of "oil painting" filter effect has been applied.

The camera is also slower to respond than before, so the moment I wanted to snap has passed long before camera takes the picture.

The external speaker is not as loud as before either.

It seems clear from earlier posts that these problems are directly related to the recent system upgrade and they cannot be fixed by the methods suggested above, these are problems in the system upgrade and must be addressed by Sony.

there are many samll bugs also present in lollipop upgrade...which were not in kitkat..they have to fix all of them.

Hi,
I would like to add my voice to the topic here.
I have been a user of Sony phones for a long time (starting from the very old Sony Ericson t68i:) and I have always been very satisfied with the products you provide.
However, after upgrading my Sony Xperia M2 to Lolipop the photo quality has gotten so bad that I stopped taking photos alltogether, and I am seriously considering buying a new phone.
The photo quality used to be so good, and now all the pictures look blurry, there's no focus, details are lacking and there is some weird smudge around some areas as if it was some filter effect (like a painting).

Please provide a fix for the issue. So many people have been affected and disappointed by this recent update.
