And why would I have to buy a new phone? I've had my M2 Aqua exactly one year. ONE. YEAR. Am I supposed to buy a new "better" phone every year, or even every few months? This would be completely irresponsible, both from economic and environmental point of view (where do you think used phones eventually end up?)
Don't be so sure M4 Aqua and M5, which are in the same range as M2 Aqua was when it was new, will get any better support during their lifetime cycle than M2/M2 Aqua did. They are better, because they are NEWER. Flagship phones are too expensive.
I'm not a Sony fanboy, so if I'm not satisfied with their products (or support) I won't buy from them again, simple as that.
P.S.: A new member of this forum asked why he couldn't yet update to Lollipop, he/she seemed to have some software related problems. I tried to warn him or her about the major drawbacks of upgrading, because he/she might not have read the other threads on this forum that list the problems already. My comment got deleted after a few hours. I guess what I did was wrong, I apologise for it, because it's clearly not right from me to want to warn another person from doing something he or she might regret doing later, like so many of us did.
