Hello,
I am trying to find and activate the "my xperia" service allowing me to locate my phone or erase its content if lost. It's not in the Settings --> Xperia --> my xperia as it sould be because there is no Xperia in my Settings (!!!).
I recently upgraded my phone to the 15.4.A.0.23 version, and I should be able to find all that.
When I try yo go to the Update Center --> Apps, the phone is not showing the missing "my xperia" app as a possible update, while saying I am up to date.
I searched all of the applications from the application button, "my xperia" is nowhere to be found. But... and that's the most weird part, when I demand the list of all applications from the Settings --> Apps --> All, "my xperia" is in the list (!!) but with NO information whatsoever on the location of the app in the phone and NO possibility of opening or managing the application listed.
Any suggestions, you guys?
Please?
Solved! Go to Solution.
So you can find it under settings-apps-all?And if you go to settings-security,there is not?
You can always sideload the app

You can use Google's service too
google.com/android/devicemanager
Exactly.
It's in the settings --> apps --> all
but not as a"widget" or anywhere else...
weird, ha?
as a last solution I guess...
Should I reach google.com/android/device manager from my androïd or PC?
You could use google device manager.Did you check uli's link?
Wait! settings -->security, you say?
I haven't checked in security, they never mentionned it should be in "security". But I'll give it a shot.
Yes!! it's in there!!!
