Hi Goonj, glad to hear that. So to confirm, when you are not covering the sensor it is not detected but when you cover the sensor it is detected? Or does it say detected no matter what? Also, is there a screen protector or case on your device?
Hi Goonj, welcome to the community!
I suggest running a diagnostics test on the proximity sensor of your device, there are two ways you can do this.
One way is by going into the main Settings > About phone > tap Diagnostics > tap Test > choose Ear proximity. The other way to do so is to dial *#*#7378423#*#* into the phones keypad and there you can tap Service tests & then tap Proximity switch. Report back to us with what you find.
No My phone does not have the smart key app
Thanks for your support i did the same way as you had told and in the end after doing what you said i got the message as DETECTED

Yes when i don't cover the sensor its not detected but when i cover the sensor with my finger it shows the message as DETECTED. Also i have put a screen guard on my screen. I doubt if the problem is due to screen guard.
Hey Friends you were right the problem was due to the screen protector glass fitted on the screen. once i removed it the problem is solved. thank you friends for helping.
