Last weekend I upgraded to Marshmellow with XperiaCompanion. Everything ok so far, except I noticed that the ear speaker does not work anymore. Handsfree works, calling over Bluetooth works.
So I tried some settings.
Then I restarted.
Restarted again in safe mode.
Backed up and repaired with XperiaCompanion. Still no sound.....
Anyone got a solution for this?
Kind regards,
Kelly
Hi @OSIRIS07,
It may be related to the update, but it could also be coincedental, and may be a physical problem. Either way, if the software repair has not resolved the issue, I recommend you contact your local support team to arrange a repair.
Called Sony Helpdesk. Sent the phone to repair. Got it back with 5.0 installed...... No update to Marshmellow available so far. They installed 26.1.A.3.111. I am not a happy camper, I can tell you.....
Would not wait any more. Had 5.1, updated to Marshmellow, sent it to Sony and received an even older 5.0. After some time no updates. Not to 5.1, nor to 6. So I did it my self. And guess what: after a clean install two weaks ago, it is now save to say: everything works well.
Regards,
Kelly

Hello
I have a Sony M4 Aqua dual.
Since a few days I no longer hear people who call me, I had already had this problem on the same phone that had been changed with the guarantee.
I spoke with a technician who advised me to do a software repair, following this operation my phone still does not work.
For the moment my phone is still under guarantee, so I will change it for the second time (for the same problem), could you find me a solution, I do not want to change phone every six months until 'At the end of my warranty, and at the end of my warranty I would end up with a phone without being able to hear my calls.
I have looked on different forum and no solutions are brought.
Thank you for giving me an answer
Since you have experienced this issue with a previous phone and it was a hardware issue, you should contact your Local support regarding this, as this is a user based forum.
