Is there a built in feature to clean junk files?

Xperia M4 Aqua does not have an inbuilt feature that will clean out these type of files in the phone.

What you can do instead is that you clear the cached data for applications in the phone, either for one specific application or all at once.

To clear it for a specific application go to Settings > Apps > tap on the app > Storage > Clear cache.

If you want to do it for all application at once, go to Settings > Storage > Internal storage > tap on Cached data and tap on "OK".
