Phone is not Working? again!

Phone was working fine yesterday.

Today it was a bit sluggish, I restarted it.

Now it loads, but when it's done loading I only see the status bar, (notifications and time) and I can't even swipe down to check them.

Home or back buttons not available, All I see is a black screen with the status bar. And I have pattern unlock, and even that is not loaded, I can turn screen on and off without it.

I can however recive and answer calls.

I took sim card out, sd card out, restarted, powered off fully and launched in safe mode but no luck.

I'm really disappointed in this phone... But im stuck with it...

Is there a solution?

Factory reset? How do you do this without the menu? (Hold power? near sd card?)

Without PCC you will need to use MyXperia or Android Device Manager, however, it will be better to reinstall the latest update with PCC

here is a guide software repair using PC Companion

It could be a third party app acting up

boot on safe mode and report back.

Remove the SIM and SD card > boot on safe mode > if that doesn't work then repair the phone with PCC

Without the Sim/SD cards, in Safe mode still the same problem.

I will try PCC, How do you repair using it?

I keep getting an error:

Your phone is not accesible.

The phone won't connect to PCC at all. The phone has a major software problem? So I can't run the update, it will not connect.

I need to do a factory reset witout PCC. Is this possible? Or should I just take the phone in for repair.

@Sonymanpro

does the notification LED turn on when you connect the phone to a computer, btw to repair the phone with PCC it doesn't need to be on.

It's slowly updating now... I swear if my mic stops working after the update...

Yes the LED was on, It was Red, But the phone was over 80% charged.

If I powered on it would go Blue...

When on it was white...

Now while updating its green.
