Hi @Ajith5,

If you want your device to be completely silent and not vibrate you can activate Do not disturb mode. We have some

To activate Do not disturb mode

  1. Drag the status bar downwards to access the Quick settings panel.
  2. Find and tap  .
  3. Select an option, then tap Done.

To quickly shift between Do not disturb/Vibrate/Sound mode

  1. Press the volume key up or down until ,  or  appears.
  2. Tap or to quickly shift between Vibrate/Sound mode. To activate Do not disturb mode, press the volume key down when in vibrate mode.

You can find more information about Do not disturb mode on our support website: http://support.sonymobile.com/global-en/xperiam5/userguide/Do-not-disturb-mode-settings/

I have noticed that while performing software repair through Xperia companion, when my laptop is connected to wifi, the process doesn't go well and i used to have many problems with my phone like overheating, lag in performance, dull audio quality etc. But when i connect my laptop with LAN, then there will be no problem. My phone runs pretty good.

Why won't sony recommend to do it with LAN.

I'm thinking that with wireless data transfer, it isn't as accurate as wired data transfer. What do you say?
Thank you.

Also i have seen many complaints like after updating the phone bass drastically reduced, camera quality not good so on which me too had faced and thougt sony isn't working good. But after doing it as mentioned above with laptop connected to LAN, I'm getting perfect experience as it done before updating

Depending on your wireless connection it may be better to use a wired connection. The quality of the downloaded data should not differ but I'm glad to hear that it helped for you! Slightly_smiling_Face
