If you want your device to be completely silent and not vibrate you can activate Do not disturb mode. We have some
To activate Do not disturb mode
- Drag the status bar downwards to access the Quick settings panel.
- Find and tap

- Select an option, then tap Done.
To quickly shift between Do not disturb/Vibrate/Sound mode
- Press the volume key up or down until

appears.
- Tap

to quickly shift between Vibrate/Sound mode. To activate Do not disturb mode, press the volume key down when in vibrate mode.

Why won't sony recommend to do it with LAN.
I'm thinking that with wireless data transfer, it isn't as accurate as wired data transfer. What do you say?

Depending on your wireless connection it may be better to use a wired connection. The quality of the downloaded data should not differ but I'm glad to hear that it helped for you!
