WhatsApp date and time wrong message!

Hello everyone,

I am new to the "Sony" Xperia range but been a long time user to the "Sony Ericsson" range.

I bought my Xperia M from the official Sony Store from Malaysia but however I have a problem.

The phone came with WhatsApp but it says the date and time is incorrect!

And yes I did all the maintenance stuff. I updated my phone to Android 4.1.2 Build version 15.1.C.1.17 and I updated the app (It updated the moment I connected it to WiFi).

I currently haven't got a SIM into this thing so do I need to put in the SIM card first before it will work or is there another problem?

Try this 

Settings > Date & ime > try either Automatic date & time and automatic time zone

Managed to fix it by uninstalling the app and reinstalling the app via Google Play. Thanks for your help

It said update on Play Store but said Invalid Download URL, but I managed to fix it by uninstalling and reinstalling the app, thanks anyway

Its common. i had to uninstall n reinstall whatsapp on both M and recently purchased L too. same issue time and date wrong...
