I hope you can help me aswell as I'm having the exact same issue apart from this didn't happen directly after the oreo update, it happened randomly one day. After following Sony support advise I had disabled apps, removed apps, done a factory reset, left battery to drain completely and charged while off to 100% with the exact same issues so I returned the device for warranty repair and it had been returned apparently fixed but with the same issue so I'm thinking if it is a new battery then it must be a software issue. My battery will drain quicker than it really should and at times it will stay on a certain % for ages while I'm doing things that should kill ya battery like YouTube. In attached screenshots of my battery screen as it's been throughout the day and you can see massive drops in the battery and weirdly these drops have been while the screen has been off. It had wen from 17% to 9% in the time it tuck to go into standby after I put my phone down so 60seconds I believe. In also attached the screenshots u requested from the other user as I feel this issue is pretty much identical to the original post. Thanks in advance.
I'm sorry, I must of not read it properly before. Just trying a test again n once it's down to 10% I'll screenshot and update this post but since I'm commenting I'll update to what iv done since. Iv tried repairing via Xperia companion and as such it's been factory reset. When setting up I didn't download any back up, turned off sync, disabled a bunch of apps, didn't install any new apps, turned on data saver, disabled nfc, mobile data, WiFi and everything like that, also turned on airplane mode just to make sure lol. I had even removed my sim card anyway before setup. I then just left my phone running off battery from 100%. I checked it after about an hour of just being on standby and it was at 71% which it is still at after another 3 hours. That's a massive drop and as you will see from the screen shot nothing is even running and the drop happened quickly. I'd apparently had the battery replaced by Sony under my warranty so if it is a new battery then I can only put it down to software and the only thing I can think it being is the oreo update. If that's the case I'll expect Sony to offer me a way to downgrade my android os to the previous version supplied with my phone, supply a fix quickly and refund my purchase. My phone as essentially just a nice looking paperweight now.
Update: after waiting for my batt to die it had been stuck at 71% then after about bout 4 hours it started going down again then at 33% it suddenly dropped to 0% and shut down. Iv restarted the phone to get the last screenshot of the battery usage and the apps used since last full charge as requested. I hope someone can give me an option to fix this quickly. Thanks in advance.
That's odd, you might want to repair the device with XC

As mentioned in the comment I'd already done that, I tried repairing the device from my pc n and after completing a very basic setup again on my phone I unplugged after the battery was 100% and left it. I turned the screen on a few times throughout the day to just see what the battery was at but nothing other than that. Like I said I had sent the device back to Sony support but still came back with the exact same issue so while it went in for repair I can't say if the battery had been changed or not. If it has then it must be software fault as them rapid drops in battery seem weird. I think I'm gonna need to send it back in again and ask for confirmation of what exactly has been done. I'm hoping someone on here can give me some help to resolve it quickly as I don't wanna send my phone in for a 2nd time. I only got it back from them about 3 days ago but wanted to try and get answers here before sending it back again.
My bad, this is what I would try:
Charge the phone 100% > restart the phone > boot in safe mode for several hours, thus disabling all third party apps that might or might not be causing this problem > do not charge the phone, use it as you "normally would" (but in safe mode ), > once the battery has reached 20% or so > take the same screenshots and report back.
Ok iv done as mentioned running in safe mode n attached pics as requested. Stuck my sim back in and run it as a normal phone as much as ya can in safe mode anyway with only a quick check on facebook out of boredom lol. As you can see from the time in each pic, it didn't last long.
I have exactly the same problem I've repaired using xc. I've just had a new battery installed. It's exactly the same there has to be an issue with the latest software. I had it on a previous Xperia updating to lollipop and it turned out to be the OS
