Mi celular no reconoce el cargador esta teniendo problemas, lo tengo conectado y no carga, esta nuevo el cargador y el cable limpie las entradas aun nada 

My cell phone does not recognize the charger is having problems, I have it connected and it does not charge, it is new the charger and the cable clean the inputs yet nothing

Hi @Wagner1985, sorry to hear about this. 

Have you been able to try different chargers and cables to see if it may be the charger or the cable that is malfunctioning? It is recommended that you use a charger that is plugged into a wall socket instead of using a computer (and USB cable) to charge your device. You may also try to do a force restart of the device. To do this, press and hold the power key and volume-up simultaneously until the phone vibrates.

Also, if the battery is drained, it may take up to 30 minutes for your device to respond to the charging. During this time, the screen may remain completely dark, not showing the charging icon. Also note that it can take up to 4 hours for a completely drained battery to charge fully.

Try these measures and let me know how it goes!

I have the same problem (almost 1 week). I checked my battery and Type-C port are good. 

I think the problem is the OS (android 8.0.0).

I gonna decribe why i think is not a hardware problem:

I charge my phone and after 4 hours phone show 100% charge (there are no problem with charger or Type-C port), after 20 minutes (approx) my phone power-off, "in theory is a battery problem" but if i turn on my phone works for arund 20 minutes just with 1% or 0% of battery. and then power-off again. I can do the same process more that 10 times and works for 20 minutes each time.

I tried to fix the problem with sony companion tool "software repair option" but it doesnt fix the problem. i read some blog that say its a problem with the android version (8.0.0 - Oreo) y tried to upgrade the Android version of my phone to 9 (pie) but is not possible.

Could you please help me with this issue?

As you mentioned, it is not possible to upgrade the XA1 to Android Pie and since the software repair did not manage to improve the charging function, it is more likely that this is hardware related. My suggestion is to get in contact with your local support team in order to have your phone sent to an authorized service center to be examined and possibly repaired. If you have any questions regarding the service such as routines, warranty and consumer laws, these kind of questions are best answered by your local support team as well.
