VOLTE?

Does the XA support VOLTE? The whitepaper on Sony Mobile's site states that the device does. But I am on T-Mobile US network and calls drop to UMTS/HSPA(3G). Sony support says the device does support VOLTE and I need to talk to carrier. Carrier says if the device supports VOLTE it should work. Nobody is giving good support. Does anyone know?

Will the XA ultra ever get a firmware update that enables voLte? I know the processor is capable and it is the firmware that restricts the use of voLte.

As far as i know all the phones with Mediatek P10 chipset have VoLTE even it's also mentioned in the white paper of XA. It just needs a software update to enable it. But i know sony will never do that, because of their greedy policies that xa1 (2017) sales might get affected. I have been loyal sony customer but now I'm definitely switching to other brand.

In my xperia xa ultra dual f3216.now get nougat 7update ..but not get volte...will I get volte in next nougat update...give me a reply...otherwise I want to buy another phone...oppo

@altmashmirza---U r right but sony is not going to listen to customers who r theredie hard fan like u and me they r digging there own grave,in this forum many users like you and me begging SONY for enabling VOLTE feature in XPERIA XA & XA ULTRA via software update since 1 year but SONY is not listening to us.

@Khursheede---I agree with i m also switching to other brand bcs of irresponsible,careless attitude of SONY to its loyal cutomers also i have stopped my known persons from buying SONY SMARTPHONES

and strictly advised them to go through this forum before buying to know about the problems customer are facing after purchasing SONY SMARTPHONES and how SONY is reacting to customer

problems and requirements.EVEN AFTER THAT THEY BUY,PLS DO IT AT YOUR OWN RISK.

NOTE--THE WORST MARKETING STRATEGY IS THAT SONY IS NOT ENABLING VOLTE IN XA/XA ULTRA

             AND LAUNCHING XA1/XA1 ULTRA WITH VOLTE AT HIGH PRICE RANGE WHEREAS THERE ARE ALREADY OTHER BRAND SMARTPHONES LIKE SAMSUNG,MI,HUAWEI,MOTOROLA etc WITH VOLTE ENABLE AT LOWER PRICE RANGE.

We all xa and xa ultra users love ours phone

We purchased it not because of theirs features but for they were sony phones

In india when we got jio 4g network we all really needs for volte so that we can make and receive calls

If any mobile doesn't supports volte there is an app named jio4gvoice that done that work for doing calls but for a price that we each have to always on mobile data 24 hours

And that apps always running in background 24 hours with mobile data always on

Xa has only 2300 mah battery

Mobile data always on and app is always running in background eats so much battery

That are the reasons we need volte

When anyone asked for support on this forum 

Moderators and xperia supports says 

It's supports that feature you have to contact your carrier and local support 

My carrier always told that they supports each mobile who has volte

Than we contacted xperia india local support they told each of us that it doesn't support volte 

That's why we are asking on world forum for volte support

Please give us volte update as our hardware supports that

It will make our device better and also it will be good for sony smartphones

Negative marketing will be stopped through those customers who are feeling so bad by not having volte

Sony, Please study Indian mobile market particularly in Volte option and give justice to Indian customers money who bought XA devices.

Sony's think tank does not know that

Sony mobiles doesn't sold because of the features they have

They sold because of that sony logo

On the back of each sony phone has

Best features comes in very cheap price

But if a customer believes in a very high price sony phones with their's minimum features sony should resepect that customers and give them at least those little features that is supported by hardware inside his sony phone.
