Roll out of the Jelly Bean update for several xperia models was announced months ago.
Still PC companion says i have the latest availeble software. Which is probalby ICS.
From the phone:
Android-versie: 4.0.4.
Build-nummer: 6.1.1.B.1.54
Phone is not BRANDED btw.
Like come on!!! For almost al other phones i see people recieving updates. In another topic i read that someone with a xperia P received his JB update yesterday..
Anyone here who either
- knows when the update does become availeble?? or,
- anyone in the netherlands has already updateded their xperia GO to JB?
Thnx
Here is an alternative
1st backup your current firmware
2nd manually update your phone
3rd if you must return to your prior firmware you could or just enjoy the global generic firmware
How to manually update, downgrade, root 2012 Xperias

I just want Sony to support the phone. I paid them for it. I shouldn't be forced to do a DIY solution.
I find it insulting that you consider your post as a 'correct' answer for the complete lack of respect that Sony is showing it's Dutch customers
This is truly bizarre. The Xperia Go site for the Netherlands states quite clearly that JB is available (see http://www.sonymobile.com/nl/software/phones/xperia-go/)
Android-versie: Google Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean)
Nieuwste beschikbare software: 6.2.A.1.100
Release gestart: 2013-06-12
My phone with BuildNumber 6.1.1.B.1.10 is telling me I'm up to date (not carrier locked purchased at CoolBlue)
What gives Sony?

You forgot to read one part

Yes I read that but I also read this on the Sony Xperia go site

It's now 4 months later, so my question is what's taking so long?
To put this in perspective the GB->ICS upgrade was timely, I had it within a month of the initial roll-out. Furthermore I assume that that was a much more compicated upgrade than ICS->JB.
It's even worse according to the sony mobile blog they started end of april
So we are waiting almost 6 months now.
I'm still waiting, after 2 weeks, for answer from the offical NL support why they told me that JB had finished rolling out and that the problem was my phone, while according to the staff of this forum and the unoffical xperia care on twitter the update isn't even approved yet
You guys have it bad, so do we with generic xperia Z in the UK. We recieve all updates last (if at all). Next phone will be the nexus.
I'm going crazy. Today I received a reply on a email from 20 september !!!!!. They still say JB is released in the Netherlands. It looks like there only work idiots for Sony support
The update to Android 4.1 for the Xperia™ Go is available since longer time. If you can't do the update with your phone i think there is an operator branding installed. Customer with phones with operator brandings have to wait a little bit longer because the providers have to modify it. Please contact your operator for more informations.
You know I added a new 4 letter word to my vocabulary SONY
So sony you sony. You are all sonying idiots
Jeeee
That "you probably have an operator branding" statement is getting old. WE DONT HAVE ONE SONY!!!! Most if not all here are generic phones.
Getting pretty tired of all this BS. We (myself at least) ruled out all other options but you sony guys screwing it up. At least Tell us what the problem is, or what we can expect in the near future!!!
Anybody any news op the update??
