My Xperia L cpu temperature gets upto 70 degree celcius if i play some games..Is this normal. If not what is a safe cpu teperature?

Yes,stop using task killers,battery savers,try to disable some of the phone functions like wifi,data when you do not need them.Also,syncing stresses the phone.

Of course,especially when the phone is intensely used and if you have a back cover.When the phone is very hot,even the battery does not charge.

I am too facing similar issues. and my handset is also less than a year old.
The service center said thay will not request for replacement as its not a part of the agreement. The customer care said rest and transfer data. As per service center people, replacement is never done . they can onnly change spares even if the handset does not have a physical damage. I strongly recommend. This would spoil sony brand image
