Hi all,
After my M2 dual( Black) to Android 5.1.1 , the camera quality has degraded. The images when zoomed in looks like having a filter like artistic, blurry. I have also tried the methods said above by the support team, but still the camera quality is same.
Please suggest how this can be fixed as it clearly makes the camera useless.
Hi, Sony Xperia Support Staff, there are indeed many Xperia M2 users are suffering serious issues regarding the GPS and Camera after the recent Lollipop update. GPS is now constantly lost its coordination, and Camera is now very very poor in clarity and quality, instead after the update the phone is now a CHEAP LOW-END PHONE!!!! After we search the forum, support staffs are just ignoring the main issue just asking us the clear app cache, reset phone or repair using PC Companion, and these were unable to solve the issues as reported by many Xperia M2 users. Can you please refer this to Sony to investigate and GIVE US A FIX OR PATCH UPDATE ASAP?!!!!! STOP ASK US TO DO RESET AS IT ISN'T WORK!!!!
Now, the support staff isn't at fault here, they're just people, trying to help the best they can, so let's keep things civil here.
But I do think they're the ones who can bring this problem up to the developers of the update at Sony and they would (hopefully) come up with a fix for the problem. I don't want to resort to any unofficial ways of getting rid of the problem myself, nor do I have the knowledge to do so.
The best we can do is be vocal enough, so they would get our attention, and hope for the best.
sir my problem is when i update my m2 d2303 on 5.1 my phone camera quality is very very poor like 2 mp
please guide what i do
or i am going back to 4.4 kitkat software
please give solution or give us new update mostly people have problem
I noticed the battery drain and WiFi issues as well (an exclamation mark appears near to the WiFi signal icon and you need to reconnect). Haven't tried out GPS yet, but even if that works fine there's still too many problems with this update, the camera quality being the deal breaker for me.
Seriously, if there is anyone that is considering upgrading to Lollipop and hasn't done it yet, I urge you: DO NOT DO IT. All things considered, KitKat was a much more stable release and worked so much better on M2 than Lollipop does. I was excited at first, but with every passing minute I regretted my decision to upgrade more and more.
I'm never making this mistake (updating as soon as the latest OS gets available) again, I'll wait for some reviews first to see if there are any issues. Let's hope for the fix, but if there is none I doubt I'll be buying from Sony again.
