Camera image looks like it lacks details

Hi, I am from India. After the lollipop upadate, my Xperia m2 dual( 2302) camera shows some isues. Its image looks like artistic picture, lacks details. When zooming its feel too bad. Is any one have this issue?

Sony, you're such a good company, but why are the support is so dead!?
Please fix the sound and camera soon as it possible, is it too hard to make a small update for it?

You may experience that the camera image quality is different after upgrading the software in Xperia™ M2, Xperia™ M2 Dual, and Xperia™ M2 Aqua. It may be seen as a lack of details in the image when you have zoomed in.

The latest software (Android™ 5.1.1, software version 18.6.A.0.175) introduced changes in the image quality, which are supposed to benefit a majority of the users when viewing photos. The sharpness was increased, which makes the image more clear and sharp when it's displayed on the device or on a computer, fitted to the screen size. The increased sharpness, however, also means that you will see less detail when you zoom in the image to more than the actual image size.

After evaluation it has been decided that the new image quality should be of benefit to a majority of the users of Xperia™ M2, Xperia™ M2 Dual, and Xperia™ M2 Aqua.

This has gotten way beyond the point of being just ridiculous.

I don't understand this logic, it doesn't lead anywhere else than to losing customers because of bad decisions like this. The sad part is, I'm not entirely sure we'd be better off buying a mid-range phone from any other manufacturer. I've been looking around the web for some information, and from what I've learned (I could be wrong though) low to mid-range devices are pretty much screwed anywhere, as far as regular support is concerned.

It **bleep**, I know. I don't mean this in Sony's defense though, I doubt I'll be buying from them again. It just looks like if you can't afford a flagship phone you're screwed.

The best we can do is to warn people from upgrading their M2 to Lollipop (every once in a while somebody that still hasn't upgraded but wants to registers on this forum) or to let them know how to downgrade back to KitKat themselves (there are posts with links to tutorials in this thread, just look around a bit before asking).

I think a few people already said somewhere it might void the warranty, but no definitive answer, from what I recall.

That's what made me wary of downgrading initially. But then again, what was I supposed to do, wait a year for my warranty to expire anyway, and in the meanwhile having a phone with an OS that totally ruined my experience? So I decided to downgrade anyway, and it paid off

Why sony is not responding to this problem..., why they are not solving this.. at-least provide us to get back to the previous stage... i was a sony fan and inspired many people to go for sony....but here after i wont let anyone to go for sony....i didn't expect such an irresponsible action from sony...

Thats ridiculous, you will change Sony only for this bad step, there are way much better Xperia devices than M2. I don't think so, because of guys like you Sony will get down, belive in them, they always fix their problems.

So Sony don't dissapoint us, fix your PROBLEM, and don't make any more.
