Camera image looks like it lacks details

Hi, I am from India. After the lollipop upadate, my Xperia m2 dual( 2302) camera shows some isues. Its image looks like artistic picture, lacks details. When zooming its feel too bad. Is any one have this issue?

Comes to something when the front camera on kk takes better pictures than the back one on lollipop does. 6mths plus wait for a update that's no good and I bet wet won't get any more updates either next month 18mth's is up

My friends and everyone who updated to lollipop having camera issues.Worst camera update in xperia series.

I'm also having same issues with my Xperia M2 dual (2302),after the lollipop update the quality of images are so worse. Please provide some suggestion to resolve my problem.

Same here. D2302. I believe it's not the app problem (stock camera app and the Google Camera have the same problem).
There is something in the firmware/kernel/etc. Before you ask again, yes I double checked all the settings, lens cleaned (and shiny right now, lol).
But it's not artistic actually, it's more like over sharpened. What I know, it's something can be fixed though the software update. But it's all up to Sony want to fix (push a new update) or not. 
It's not something we (user) can fix it, except we downgrade back to KitKat or flash a custom ROM. That is the only way. 
Seriously, the quality of the image in Kitkat is definetely better than lollipop. 

Sony, just fix it. JUST DO IT!

Thank you for this information. I will try to fix it but in case if this process couldn't fix the problem then what should I do??? Tell me some permanent solution coz the quality is really very bad.

The quality of the camera has reverted back to what it was like on 4.3 Jelly Bean. In KitKat 4.4.4 update, the camera was awesome and the quality was excellent! However, after the Lollipop 5.1.1 update, the camera quality has gone worse, like in the 4.3. Please fix this.

The people of sony must stop saying that clearing the cache or reinstalling the system will help. This is an issue from the source, and must be fixed on all the M2/M2 Aqua versions (Since all have the issue). Hope we can get that camera update soon.

Now I am really tired and angry with this. Who is your software developer??? Fire him immediately. He just made a crap. My friend's micromax phone camera is also better than mine. Take some steps before people stop buying Sony. Fix it or send me the old camera app.
