Camera image looks like it lacks details

Hi, I am from India. After the lollipop upadate, my Xperia m2 dual( 2302) camera shows some isues. Its image looks like artistic picture, lacks details. When zooming its feel too bad. Is any one have this issue?

I already gave my comments about this problem, and it's a real pity seeing such an answer from Sony support team.

Indeed, the sharpness was increased, but only to compensate an exageration of noise reduction, which is terrible in low light conditions...

It's really a bad joke, I'm now taking 1024x1024 pics because it's the only way to have an acceptable result...

hi...am also having the same problem...i have tried everything listed, also a softeware repair. Then i went to the sony service. They said it is a software issue..Nothing rectified my problem..Please help Sony..i hate to take photos now...

After evaluation it has been decided that the new image quality should be of benefit to a majority of the users of Xperia™ M2, Xperia™ M2 Dual, and Xperia™ M2 Aqua.

*lol* Maybe we should be thankful, the phone is now broken by design, but they have not used a rootkit this time.

At least give us an option to decrease the camera sharpness or whatever this is. I was completely satisfied with my mid-rage handset, but now the camera definitely ISN'T WORKING. When we perform an update we want the phone to be updated and not transformed to something worse. I don't care if you did this change to benefit “larger screens” but my phone's camera is not benefited. If this update wasn't suitable for our models then why did you give us this option?

Finally I went on with the downgrade procedure...

As it was a p@in in the @ss, I took the opportunity to unlock the bootloader and root my phone.

Everything's back to normal, my camera is working like in the old days, and the battery comsumption has also improved.

I only lack the modern style of the Lollipop UI, but what the heck !

Me I had the same problem, really a poor camera quality after the lollipop update.
